Joker Ladislav Krobot Scores Decisive Goal, Securing Victory for Pardubice Before National Team Break

Joker. A role that no striker wants to play, but has to accept. Above all, it depends only on him whether he will become the main gunner from this “function”. The story that Ladislav Krobot is writing for the second year in the east of the Czech Republic This season, he already made his mark against Sparta Prague, but it didn’t play much of a role in the 2:5 result. His second goal can be considered very important, as he decided an even battle with Teplice this weekend. If only because the coaches and players will have a more restful sleep during the national team break…

With a new horse. Recently, Radoslav Kováč has been giving new faces a chance, which he did this time as well. In the match, Skláři sent 18-year-old Štěpán Míšek to the starting line-up. But this offensive-minded midfielder had to defend first. Teplice were the first to threaten, when Jásir missed the goal first, and after a subsequent stop, goalkeeper Budinský had to catch Fil’s shot.

On the other side, Černý was also face to face with Grigar, but failed in the chance. However, Sklári had probably the biggest opportunity when Filo turned over Budinski at the end of the first half. Fortunately for the visitors, Donát was in the right place and cleared the ball to safety.

The second act took place for a long time without a significant threat to the gate and could rather be described as a battle.

Tischler came closest to scoring, but he too missed the heater. Then the alternating players took the floor. Helešic pulled the ball to the left side of the field and found Ladislav Krobot with a center in front of the goal, who made no mistake and scored the first and only goal of the match.

Although VAR reviewed the entire situation, he did not find any errors, and thanks to this goal, Pardubice could celebrate their first away win of the season.

“It was a competitive game with a lot of fighting and fouls. Honestly, it wasn’t a very nice match,” said Pardubice pilot Radoslav Kováč at the beginning of the assessment.

“I admit that in the eightieth minute I would have been satisfied with a point. Teplice are cool and it’s hard to play against them. In any case, three points before the national team break will be pleasing, in addition with zero at the back.”

One of the players returns to the difficulty of the match, who also played ninety minutes more than some of his teammates during the week.

“It was a really tough match. In addition, some of us had an English week with long travel. We knew that Teplice play very hard and the fights are getting into the game. The victory cost us a lot of strength, but it paid off”, Emil Tischler did not hide his relief and enthusiasm.

Under Radoslav Kováč, Pardubice play good football, which has been appreciated by more than one expert. In Teplice, his wards had to quickly forget about beauty.

“We won because we were set up well. We have to admit that it wasn’t exactly the style of football we wanted to present ourselves with. However, we knew that we needed to score points, so beauty had to go aside,” explains the Pardubice defender, who also reveals his plans for the next few days: “We have a training week ahead of us. It will be more fun with the points in your pocket.”

So what’s the mood in the cabin after seven games played and seven points scored?

“The mood in the cabin is good. The results were not the best, but we know what we want to work on and our game is not bad. Therefore, there is no reason to be sad,” says Emil Tischler in conclusion.
