Jean-Marc Dulong at the head of the brotherhoods

The latter brings together 14 brotherhoods, for example the Jurade of Saint-Emilion, the Commanderie du Bontemps (Médoc, Graves, Sauternes, Barsac) or the Hospitallers of Pomerol. It is the former trader Jean-Marc Dulong who has just taken over the presidency, thus becoming Grand Master. He succeeds Saint-Émilionnais Hubert de Boüard who held this position for four years.

Throughout the year, these brotherhoods organize inductions of personalities from the world of politics, the arts, athletes, but especially wine professionals (importers, distributors, wine merchants, etc.). As was, for example, the case this Sunday in Saint-Émilion. These inductees will then be ambassadors of the brotherhood concerned (organization of tastings, etc.) united within structures called Commanderies. The Gironde has 95, established in 27 countries, with more than 4,000 active members. A unique promotional network.
