On the final day of the Asian Games judo competition, a mixed team competition between men and women was held, and Japan defeated Uzbekistan 4-0 in the final, achieving consecutive championships.

This is a mixed team competition that was adopted from the 2018 Jakarta Games, with nine teams participating in this tournament. Fighters up to one weight class below the designated weight class are allowed to compete.

Japan will play against Nepal in the first match. In the first race, Goki Tajima (26, Park 24), a boy under 90kg, won by ippon with Sode Tsurikomi-gai. Next up is Ruri Takahashi (23, SBC Shonan Beauty Clinic), a member exclusively for the team competition who weighs over 70kg. The semi-finals will be against South Korea. In the fourth game, which was tied at 3-0, Ken Daikichi (24, SBC Shonan Beauty Clinic), a member of the team-only team under 73kg, participated. It was his first time participating in this tournament, and he was having a hard time attacking, but he won with a uranage at 3:26, allowing Japan to advance to the finals without losing a single player in the two games.

Their opponent in the final is Uzbekistan, who are aiming for a consecutive victory. In the men’s competition, Japan was at a disadvantage in all three weight classes, and in the first match, Ota used techniques to suppress his opponent with his kami-shiho-gatame technique.

In the second match, Tamaki also broke down his opponent at 1 minute 20 seconds into the match and suppressed him with Yoko Shihogatame, winning the ippon.In the third match, Daikichi received guidance twice, but won the ippon with Sumiochi, and is on his way. He gave a fist pump to his teammates.

In the fourth match, Shiho Tanaka (25, JR East) continued to attack, but could not land a technique and entered the golden score.
