After the great victory of the XV of France against the All Blacks (27-13) for the opening match of his World Cup, Thomas Ramos returned to this match.

«It’s an opening match, we had difficulty at the start, it’s hot the ball slides but in the attitude we were there». «We had an average first half and yet we were ahead at the break so it’s rather positive despite some aspects of our game that need to be reviewed. In the second half, we came back with different intentions from the kick-off. We are very, very happy, it’s very good to win this first match. But the competition is very long, so we’re not going to get excited. (the opponent?) They’re a playful team, we knew that, especially since they were coming off a big disappointment during the last preparation match. We knew it was going to be very intense. They are one of the favorites in this competition so we cannot be surprised by the intensity they offer us. That’s it, that’s good, we had a very, very good second half. The small difference in the score is good and we will enjoy this victory.

«We had an up and down match, we had difficulty getting into it with the pressure of the opening match but we knew how to be serious and rigorous throughout the match» admitted the captain of the XV of France Antoine Dupont.

For entry into its World Cup, the XV of France tamed the All Blacks (27-13) Friday at the Stade de France
