The Baseball Champions League 2023 will be the first edition of a new international tournament that will seek to get fully into the hot ball agenda when it makes its debut with the champion clubs from four different leagues around the continent meeting at the Kukulcán Álamo Park in Mérida , Yucatán from Thursday, September 28 to Sunday, October 1.
What is the Baseball Champions League?
The Baseball Champions League is a new international baseball tournament with champions from different leagues representing their club, their city and their fans on the world stage. The first Baseball Champions League is an example of what will come in the future in other continents and leagues as part of a Global Champions League, or as it could be translated another way, a true World Series.
The 2023 Americas Baseball Champions League is an invitational event, but it is expected that in the future it will become a competition whose format has a qualifier and the tournament will be replicated on other continents, mainly in Asia and Europe, to have a grand world final that could include champions from countries such as Japan, Chinese Taipei, South Korea and Italy.
