Inter Milan Dominates Derby Against AC Milan and Remains Unbeaten in Serie A

Inter Milan celebrated their biggest win in 49 years in the prestigious Derby della Madonnina against AC Milan. The Champions League finalist beat their arch rivals 5-1 (2-0) on Saturday. Inter is the only team in Serie A without losing a point after matchday 4.

A former Bundesliga trio particularly stood out in the city derby. Ex-Dortmunder Henrikh Mkhitaryan (5th/69th) scored two goals. Former Gladbach player Marcus Thuram (38th) and Hakan Calhanoglu (79th/penalty kick), once active in Hamburg and Leverkusen, scored the other Inter goals. In stoppage time, Davide Frattesi (90+3) ensured the final score. Rafael Leão (57th) scored the interim 1:2 from Milan’s perspective.
