IBK Investment & Securities announced on the 13th that it held an opening ceremony for the ‘Seongaewon Badminton Court’ at Seongaewon, a child care center located in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do.
Seongaewon is a childcare facility where 53 children currently live, and IBK Investment & Securities sponsored the construction of a badminton court measuring 30 pyeong in the vacant lot in front of the orphanage to secure insufficient space for outdoor activities.
‘Seongaewon Badminton Court’ is fully equipped with artificial turf, fences, and sports supplies, and is expected to be of great help in the physical activity and emotional development of children in care.
This opening event was attended by Seo Jeong-hak, CEO of IBK Investment & Securities, sharing volunteer members, Seongaewon Director Ki-bong Lee, and Seongaewon Secretary General Kang Min-cheol. After the opening ceremony, a craft program with children in care was also held.
