Lega B and Rai still together. The BKT Series confirms its role as a vehicle for Made in Italy abroad by continuing the agreement with Rai Italia thanks to which the highlights of the championship will arrive on the five continents.
In fact, within the ‘Casa Italia’ broadcast, it will be possible to see the salient images of the Italian Championship in 174 countries, with a potential audience of over 130 million people who have a point of reference in the ‘Bel Paese’.
The path towards internationalization undertaken by the BKT Series is thus consolidated, adding to the live coverage of the matches in 52 countries on five continents, the transfer to Rai Italia of the highlights of all the matches, visible within the information container on Tuesday.
‘This agreement allows us to achieve various objectives – explains president Mauro Balata – and among the most important is certainly the visibility of the championship abroad and the possibility of promoting our football movement, since the 75% of Italians, many of whom are young. Second, we meet the needs of millions of team fans who want to follow their club. But not only that, the B confirms itself as an ambassador of the Italian brand abroad with which not only sporting images but also places, territories and cultures of our Italy are spread. We are ‘ambassadors of emotions’ with the aim of providing them even away from the playing fields.”
This is echoed by Fabrizio Ferragni, director of Rai’s Foreign Offering: “Sport is a very important asset for us and, for this reason, we will continue to propose it through our channels and our programmes. Serie B unites the country from North to South, has an excellent quality and represents for us the possibility of reaching the homes of those who have Italy in their hearts.
