NewTuscia – CIVITAVECCHIA – Stops in Civitavecchia on Health Tour, the traveling event, now in its fifth edition, which this year, from April to October, will travel the entire peninsula for the first time: 20 Italian squaresone for each region, in which citizens will have the opportunity to undergo free medical consultations, aimed at reducing the risk of chronic diseases. The Lazio stage of Health Tour will be held Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September, in Piazza Della Vita in Civitavecchiawith times that will go from 10am to 1pm and from 4pm to 8pm on both days.
The event, promoted by ASC Attivi Sportive Confederate, with the unconditional support of EG STADA Group, aims to raise citizens’ awareness of the importance of prevention, the need to lead a healthy lifestyle and the centrality of sports practice in action to combat the onset of diseases. Over the next weekend the center of Civitavecchia will therefore be transformed into an enormous one sports and health village, within which, in addition to health checks, various activities will take place: from dance to yoga, through pole dancing and judo. Furthermore, a series of activities dedicated to specific age groups are planned: family judo and judo games (for families and children), gymnastics integrated with fitness and self-defense techniques from falls and involuntary pushes (for those over 70).
In the Screen Station, equipped with 6 clinicsit will be possible to undergo free checks and medical consultations, of type cardiological, dermatological, nutritional and rheumatological, edited by qualified representatives of the main scientific societies. In particular, advice will be offered on the prevention and management of any pathologies, but also suggestions regarding correct nutrition, the physical activity to be carried out and the importance of adhering to therapy. This is a particularly valuable service, which in previous editions of the tour has made it possible to detect several cases of unaware citizens, struggling with serious health problems, who thanks to the checks carried out in the Screen Station potentially serious consequences were averted. Another particularly important service is lo Listening Deskwhich aims to respond to the significant increase in psychological disorders registered in the pandemic and post-pandemic phases: also in this case citizens will be able to obtain a free consultation from qualified specialists belonging to the Italian Federation of Psychologists. Among the great innovations this year is a special counter, within which gods will operate veterinary doctors, who will provide useful advice on recognizing the risk factors relating to your own pets.
It’s big stage-ledwall, which will support the Screen Stationis instead intended to accommodate the multiple physical, sporting and aggregative activities which will be proposed by the instructors of ASD Athletic Center, Pole Fighters, Meditare in Movimento and CB Talent Company Academy: highly qualified figures, members of the ASC network, will involve the public in their respective disciplines and will offer demonstrations of their skills. A series of will also be held on the same stage training and information momentsreserved for example for teaching maneuvers to unblock the airways and cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques, and for the intervention of a psychologist specialized in managing stress at work, in sport and during pregnancy
The 2023 edition is also characterized by a collateral project, in partnership with FIDAL, FIDS, FIB, OPES and ASC: Doors Open to Sport, which aims to bring students aged 6 to 17 and their families closer to the practice of athletics, bowls and sports dance through open days.
