Our best female wrestler has not competed in international competitions for more than two years – since the Olympic Games. Grigorieva is a four-time European champion (2009, 2013, 2014, 2016) and a two-time world bronze medalist (2014, 2017).
Ramina Mamedova, Elma Zeidler, Alīna Antipova, Ivars Samušonoks and others also won the national championship gold in freestyle wrestling, and the President of Latvian Sport wrestling, Armands Zvirbulis, became the national champion for the tenth time.
