The new season of the BARMER 2nd Basketball Bundesliga is almost upon us and from NOW the tickets for the first main round games are available for sale! Now fans can secure their tickets to the home games in the Matthias Grothe Hall and look forward to an exciting season with an entertaining Kangaroos team. Right at the start of the season, the Waldstadters are expecting three cracking home games in quick succession and they have prepared an unbeatable package, the World Champion Bundle!
On the first match day, the Kangaroos host last year’s second-placed BSW Sixers in the Matthias-Grothe-Halle, a demanding opponent who definitely promises an exciting duel at the start. After a few duels with ProA teams in preparation, it is the first real benchmark for the newly formed Shirvan team.
Just three days later, the second home game day is coming up, this season on an unusual Tuesday. On German Unity Day, the people of Iserlohn will welcome the newcomers from the Seawolves Academy from Rostock. The guests are the training team of the BBL club Rostock Seawolves and will challenge the Kangaroos with a young, dynamic team.
While the Waldstädter team has to compete away from home for the first time on the third match day, they return to the Hemberg for the fourth match day. The next exciting opponent, the TKS 49ers, will be guests in the Matthias-Grothe-Halle. The last duels with the Stahnsdorfers were always close and competitive, so the Iserlohn crowd can look forward to three action-packed home games right at the start of the season!
