The Under 20 national team restarts with Alberto Bollini on the bench: the coach, who last July led the Under 19 team to a European title that had been missing for 20 years, then finds the 2004 group, which will be involved in the Elite League, the tournament reserved for eight national teams that Italy won in 2022 with Bollini at the helm of the team.
Bollini had initially been appointed assistant coach of the national team but, after the change of technical guide, he chose to remain in the organization chart of Club Italia. “It is impossible not to live the blue shirt – he said -. The Under 20’s adventure in the Elite League will begin with a double away game: on Thursday 7 September, at 5 pm, the Azzurrini will face Germany at Auf Dem Wurplatz in Berlin, while on Monday 11, again starting at 5 pm, Italy will play Tabor against the Czech Republic. England, Norway, Poland, Portugal and Romania will also participate in the tournament. Bollini has summoned 23 players, who will meet on the evening of Sunday 3 September in Grassobbio (Bergamo) and on Tuesday 5 they will fly to Germany.
