Arezzo, 15 September 2023 – Everything is ready for the first edition of the “Castiglioni Sport Village”, the great party for children and teenagers dedicated to those who love and practice sport with many sporting disciplines sponsored by CONI.
Tomorrow morning at 10.00 ribbon cutting at the “Fontesecca” sports area – entrance to the municipal swimming pool – in the presence, among others, of the over 20 associations present at the initiative.
It will be a day entirely dedicated to the world of sport with performances and presentations scheduled during the morning and afternoon.
In particular in the morning, 10am-1pm, the following activities are planned: archery, football and women’s five-a-side football, rugby and judo; in the afternoon, 3-6pm, athletics, taekwondo, rhythmic and artistic gymnastics, cycling and horse riding will come on stage with demonstration performances by dance schools and kick boxing. Present both in the morning and in the afternoon orienteering, volleyball, padel and tennis, electric motorbikes and soft air. There will also be two refreshment points, one at the Castiglionese Tennis Club and one at the Palazzetto dello Sport.
“A special thanks to all the sports associations who willingly joined the initiative which I hope will be the first of a long series. The intent is to help children and young people to choose their own discipline, giving due pride to our associations and their athletes who have always carried the name of Castiglion Fiorentino high” declares the councilor for the Third Sector, Chiara Cappelletti.
