Frans Krätzig made his debut for FC Bayern. The 20-year-old has already moved out of the FCB campus and now lives in a shared apartment with a teammate.

Munich – Frans Krätzig celebrated his Bundesliga debut in FC Bayern Munich’s 7-0 win against VfL Bochum. After good preparation and four squad nominations, the 20-year-old was substituted on for the first time. After 65 minutes, the left-back came on for Alphonso Davies. The talent was also used in the DFB Cup against Preußen Münster (4-0) and was even able to get on the top scorer list. In the video published by FC Bayern Munich, Frans Krätzig talks about current and former teammates with whom he has played together since his youth in Nuremberg and is still very good friends: “So with the boys that I played with I played in Nuremberg, it was Gaba, Johannes, Marci and Luca. I’ve played with them since the U9.” That means Gabriel Marusic, Johannes Schenk, Marcel Wenig, who now plays for Eintracht Frankfurt’s second team, and Luca Denk.

The video also accompanies the defender’s departure from the FC Bayern campus. In the future, Krätzig will live with Luca Denk. The 20-year-old midfielder has been playing regularly for FC Bayern’s second team since last season and is often used in the Bavarian Regional League. At the cup game in Münster, Denk was in the professional squad for the first time, but was the only outfield player alongside Harry Kane who was not used.

FC Bayern youngster Krätzig and Denk are best friends

The two youngsters from FC Bayern are looking forward to living together as a shared apartment. Denk says: “I trust him 100 percent. I’m now just looking forward to the further experience in the new apartment, a new phase of life. I think I have a good partner in him, with whom I get along well and can therefore continue to maintain a good relationship.” But Denk is not only looking forward to the new living situation with euphoria: “I’m also looking forward to being with him next season to play together.”

The relationship between the two talents is very close. Krätzig says of Denk: “He is my best friend.” But the two youngsters will probably have to wait a while before they can play together with the professionals. (jsk)
