Exciting Weekend of Competitions Approaching in Lot

Weekend of competitions on the horizon.

21 young people from Lot badminton clubs were this Sunday, September 24, on training at the Palais des sports in Cahors. This gathering, organized by the Badminton Lot Committee and supervised by Baptiste Dajean, was an opportunity to review everyone’s motivations and ambitions for this new season, but above all to reconnect in order to prepare for the first regional competitions. We must not delay since next weekend, September 30 and October 1, a collective of players will travel to Rabastens (81) to participate in a regional stage in Occitanie. 5 Pradines Badminton players will be traveling: Laura Prévost as a junior, Anna Boumbaly as the youngest, Roméo Goulmot as a junior, Lison Dajean and Lucile Reynes as cadets. Lysandro Souladié from Bad-Bouriane and Maëlia Bruneau from Souillac will complete the team. This will be a good introduction before the first departmental youth competition which will take place the following Sunday: October 8 at the CCQB gymnasium in Vigan. This competition, open to young licensees from Lot clubs aged 6 to 17, will indeed launch this 2023-24 season.

> For adults, many players from Pradines Badminton, and from the department, will meet in Montauban this September 30 and October 1 to participate in the first “big” tournament of the season. Nearly 400 players from the entire region and neighboring regions will be competing.
