The Departmental Museums open their doors during the European Heritage Days, a flagship annual celebration not to be missed. Explore two cultural treasures for free: the Verdon Gorges Prehistory Museum and Salagon, museum and gardens.

At the Museum of Prehistory, this year, immerse yourself in a captivating program focused on the “Living Heritage, Sport Heritage”. Meet at the Préhistosite from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for exciting activities around archery, ancestral hunting techniques, and an innovative treasure hunt exploring objects related to archery. The museum offers you an educational experience as a family.

In Salagon, explore the 12th-century priory, temporary exhibitions and ethnobotanical gardens that tell the story of the relationship between man and plants through the ages. Take advantage of guided tours throughout the weekend for an immersive experience.

End the weekend in style with exceptional concerts at both sites:

– Concert-conference “L’Àpres-Coup” with Jean François Vrod (violin, voice), Frédéric Aurier (violin, voice), Sylvain Lemêtre (Zarb, voice) and Cyril Isnart, anthropologist – Saturday at 5 p.m. in Salagon.
