By means of a note from the Argentine Judo Confederation to the El Calafate Judo Association, two judokas from El Calafate were summoned to a training camp in the cadet category that will take place in the city of La Rioja between On October 11 and 14 of this year, it will be held at the “Juan Domingo Perón” Sports Center in Barrio Vargas.
The two athletes summoned are Desiree Polacco and Bautista Gómez who recently won a Bronze medal at the South American Games in Asunción Paraguay.
It is sponsored by the Government of La Rioja, ENARD, the Argentine Judo Confederation and the
Riojan Federation of the discipline.
The selection was made taking technical parameters and results in competitions.
The activity has the overall coordination of former Olympic medalist Paula Pareto and the following professors Prof. Oritia Gonzalez, Prof. Gaston Sanzeri, Prof. Ayelene Elizeche, Prof. Buccasso Marcelo and Prof. Maldonado Claudio.
