The Rhein Fire won the title in the European League of Football (ELF) on Sunday. In the all-German final in Duisburg, the Düsseldorf team beat Stuttgart Surge 53:34 in front of 31,500 spectators and at the same time completed an ELF season without defeat.
The Vienna Vikings had to admit defeat to Stuttgart in the semi-finals, the Raiders Tirol had missed the play-offs.
