Corentin Moutet, 122nd player in the world, was dominated in the second round of the ATP 250 tournament in Chengdu (China), Saturday, by the Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic (6-2, 6-4), ranked 47th in the ATP and seeded No. 7 in the tournament. In the quarter-finals, Kecmanovic could face Alexander Zverev, if he defeats Russian qualifier Pavel Kotov.
In the first set, Moutet lost his first two serves, finding himself trailing 0-3. He was then able to break his opponent, but Kecmanovic widened the gap again, stealing his serve again (1-4). The second round was more balanced. But Corentin Moutet was once again broken, at 4-4. Then Miomir Kecmanovic signed a shutout to win.
