Concern around an OGC Nice player, the club suspends its activities

There is great concern this Friday around an OGC Nice player. The latter, present on a bridge on the A8 motorway, allegedly threatened to commit suicide. An intervention by the police, gendarmerie and firefighters is underway this Friday, as revealed by Nice-Matin. Shortly before 1 p.m., the intervention was still in progress.

According to local media, the Gym sent a psychologist to the site. According to information from RMC Sport, the player drove to the Magnan viaduct, approximately 100 meters high, on the A8 in Nice, in the Italy-Aix direction. He would have stopped on the emergency lane. He then allegedly climbed over the low wall and then threatened to throw himself into the void.

The club announced the postponement of the press conference scheduled for 1:15 p.m. The coach, Francesco Farioli, and the French international defender Jean-Clair Todibo were expected there two days before the reception of Brest in Ligue 1.
