Betclic ELITE – Looking for a position 4, Cholet Basket could bring in Ukrainian international Vyacheslav Bobrov to complete its 2023-2024 squad.

In search of a position 4 for the coming season, Cholet Basket is interested in Vyacheslav Bobrov (2.03m, 30 years old) according to Ouest-France.

Well known in the French championship for having worn the colors of Quimper, Nanterre and Orléans (2022-2023), the Ukrainian power forward faced Cholet with Budivelnik Kiev in the FIBA Europe Cup last season. Passed through Quimper (from 2015 to 2017) in Nationale 1 before doing a test in Monaco in preparation for 2018, he returned to his native land in Dnipro (Ukraine) before having to flee the country at the start of the war in February 2022. At the same time, he signed for the end of the 2021-2022 season with Nanterre where he discovered the Betclic ELITE under the orders of Pascal Donnadieu. With the Ile-de-France club, he accumulated 2.1 points and 1.3 rebounds in 8 minutes of play on average over 11 games. Returning to France, but this time in Pro B, in Orléans in the second part of the 2022-2023 season, he helped rebalance Germain Castano’s squad, with statistics of 10 points at 55.6% shooting success, 4 rebounds and 2 assists in 20 minutes over nine games. If he were to sign for Cholet, he would replace Perry Ellis and share position 4 with Kim Tillie.
