Châtel-Guyon Badminton Club Receives 4-Star Youth Supervision Label and “Elles au Bad” Label

This Wednesday, August 30, the Châtel-Guyon badminton club obtained the 4-star “youth supervision” label from the French Badminton Federation and the “Elles au Bad” label from the AURA Badminton League.

Concerned about the quality of the services offered within the clubs, the French Badminton Federation has set up a process of labeling its affiliated structures, a guarantee of quality: the French Schools of Badminton (EFB). The schools thus labeled undertake to respect the EFB charter ensuring the quality of the reception and training of young graduates.

This year, the Châtel Badminton club was awarded the 4-star label thanks to its support for the Youth Scheme. This device allows the training of young players with, for each age category, a teaching method, an adapted competitive offer, a system of evaluation of the levels of practice as well as a harmonious development. Among its 226 licensees, the club has 94 young people, from under 9 to juniors, including the youngest, minimal and cadets. Châtel Badminton also offers “Baby Bad” for children aged 3 and 4 years old.

The club is also keen to promote female commitment and practice, which has been rewarded, for the second time, by obtaining the “Elles au Bad” label for the 2023/2024 season with a silver medal. In France, only 16 clubs are labeled “Elles au Bad”, the Châtel Badminton club is among the only 4 silver medalist clubs.
