Bill Belichick’s Grumpy Attitude During Patriots’ Loss Sparks Controversy

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was talked about for his grumpy attitude during his team’s 24-17 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday night.

In the third quarter, Pats running back Rhamondre Stevenson ran on third down and the officials ruled he was short of a first down.

Belichick obviously did not agree and sharply threw his red protest handkerchief to the ground right in front of one of the referees.

His gesture quickly went around the internet and there were many mockeries. One X (formerly Twitter) user compared his behavior to that of a toddler. It didn’t take much for the “memes” to flood in.

“When you don’t cut the crusts off your kid’s sandwich,” another user wrote while sharing video of Belichick’s action.

By virtue of this setback, the Patriots are 0-2 in 2023.

“There’s not much to say about this part. It was a tough loss,” Belichick said at a press conference after the setback.

The “Pats” will try to win their first game next Sunday, when they visit the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.
