Ben Shelton has gotten off to a good start with its participation in the Laver Cup 2023granting the first point of the competition to the World team after beating a combative 7-6 (4) 6-1 Arthur Son. It was difficult for the recent semi-finalist in Flushing Meadows to warm up, but he ended up finding the best version of himself and achieving a victory that gives him enormous confidence for the rest of the weekend. Being able to continue the great tennis shown in New York is an obvious sign of his potential.
