As held by the Banu Sanusi Sesela Islamic Boarding School, Gunungsari District, Friday, September 22 2023, it held an open tournament “Banu Sanusi Badminton Cup”.
This badminton tournament was attended by 72 pairs from Lobar, Mataram and KLU. Apart from being a moment to commemorate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, this activity also strengthens friendship. H. Faedullah as the organizer and member of the Lobar DPRD for the Gunungsari – Batulayar electoral district explained that the lodge held this activity as a momentum to celebrate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
“This sporting activity is to celebrate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW,” he explained. Haji Faed, the nickname of this Perindo politician, said that this activity was also an opportunity for friendship. This open tournament, which is being held for the first time, is planned to be held for two weeks with 72 pairs of participants taking part. “The participants are from the general public, students, Islamic boarding school students. There are from KLU, Mataram and Lobar. Apart from that, political parties also participated as participants, namely the general management of Perindo.
Why did you choose to compete in badminton? According to him, Islamic boarding schools have complete facilities and infrastructure. So the female students of Banu Sanusi Islamic Boarding School are also active in playing badminton within the boarding school. “The students are actively playing at the boarding school,” he explained. In this tournament, a prize of IDR 10 million is up for grabs.
Apart from Banu Sanusi Islamic Boarding School, he also supports the CBC Dopang Badminton Tournament, which opens on Sunday evening, September 24 2023. The tournament, which is attended by 100 pairs of participants from Batulayar – Gunungsari sub-districts, will be held for almost a month.
Even though this politician from Sesela does not like sports, as a representative of the people who loves sports, he fully supports this activity. The Secretary of Perindo Lobar wants sport to live among the community, especially for santri and students. Through this activity, we provide space for residents, students and young people to do positive things, thereby avoiding negative things. Apart from that, they can show their respective talents.
