Arpajon-sur-Cère. Badminton Arpajon Club: the season has started. For this 2023-2024 season which began Monday September 4, the first badminton club in Cantal which has more than 100 members welcomes, at the Pont gymnasium, for leisure or competition, young and old, beginners or experienced . The first trial session is free.
Adults. Four weekly slots for free play: Monday from 8:15 p.m. to 10 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. A supervised training slot for all levels on Thursday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Cost of the annual license €85.
Youth. Supervised slots: Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. (12/18 year olds), Friday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (12/18 year olds), Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to noon (7/11 year olds). Annual license: €75 (Pass’Sport and Pass Cantal accepted).
Competition. In seniors, four teams play in the departmental championship and one in the regional. Among young people, the BAC is recognized as a training-oriented club due to the fact that it has a badminton school with around fifty players between 7 and 18 years old, some of whom are part of the teams participating in the competitions. The club also contributes to the development of adapted sport with specific training in specialized establishments.
