Australian Coach Liz Mills Joins Bangui Sporting Club for 2024 Basketball Africa League Qualifiers

Australian Coach Liz Mills will lead league champions Bangui in the 2024 Basketball Africa League qualifiers.

Winner of the local championship a few days ago, Bangui Sporting Club has just offered the services of Liz Mills, who has a real knowledge of African basketball since 2011, both at national team and club level to have trained in men’s AfroBasket and also at the BAL.

Her experience, her notoriety and her coaching skills which have made her the queen of advanced statistics, will be very useful to Bangui Sporting Club in its quest to qualify for the Basketball Africa League.

The Australian coach knows the African continent very well, having coached in different countries: Zambia, Cameroon, Rwanda, Kenya, Morocco (As Salé) and Côte d’Ivoire (ABC Fighters).
Each time she coached men. A unique journey for a woman. The Central African Republic will therefore be the 7th country in Africa where she will settle down.

If the BSC were guided by the duo Evans Ganapamo and the veteran Max Kouguere during the final of the Bangui League championship, it will certainly strengthen further with the arrival of several regular players from the international scene.
