Atletico Madrid gave Real Madrid their first defeat in the 2023/24 LaLiga season after recording a score of 3-1 at the Civitas Metropolitan Stadium, Monday (25/9) early this morning WIB.
In the sixth week of LaLiga last night, the hosts took a two-ball lead in a span of 14 minutes following goals from Alvaro Morata (4′) and Antoine Griezmann (18′).

The whites Had time to reduce the position through Toni Kroos’ effort five minutes after the half hour, but Morata’s second strike in the 46th minute ensured defeat for his former club.

This result is clearly disappointing for Madrid. Apart from having their 100 percent winning record vanished, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops also had to give up the top of the standings being controlled by eternal rivals Barcelona, who yesterday successfully made a 3-2 comeback over Celta Vigo. For the time being, Madrid is in third place with a collection of 15 points, one point behind Blaugrana.
