He National women’s badminton gathered in Toledo to compete in a new edition of the team Cup. One of the fixtures in this competition is Club Athlos, which once again managed to access the title phase, in which it fell in the quarterfinals.
On this occasion the team from Ourense was made up of Sara Galicia, Ana Nóvoa, Beatriz López, Martina Llamas, Mariña González and Sara Ezquerrowho were accompanied by Olalla Fernández and Antonio Iglesias as coaches.
In the first phase of competition, the league, Athlos was sided with CB IES La Orden from Huelva, which attended the event defending the Top-10 title, and with the Asturian CB Astures. In the first match, a 4-1 victory against Astures and in the second, a defeat by the same result against La Orden.
With these results, The team from Ourense achieved a ticket to the final phase, thus placing itself in the top-8. In the quarterfinal round, the team from Ourense faced CB San Fernando Valencia, which reached the playoffs after clearly winning its matches: 5-0 against Huesca La Magia and 4-1 against Cura Mora. The Valencians continued to show their strength and beat Athlos 3-0.
Outside of the fight for the title, the final position of the women from Ourense remained to be known. In the duel for fifth place, they defeated CB Soria 3-1, finishing sixth place.

Sevillian title
The title traveled from the Rafael del Pino Sports Complex in Toledo to Sevillian lands. CB Rinconada won the Cup after beating CB Oviedo, the 2020 champion, 3-1 in the final.
