Two Peruvian citizens aged 18 and 25 were arrested in Milan on charges of aggravated theft in competition. The couple was noticed by the police for their suspicious movements on Monday evening, when they entered a clothing store in the centre, in via Torino, with a bag artificially covered with aluminum foil and adhesive tape to “shield” the anti-theft detector.

When the officers stopped them outside, there were 4 baseball hats worth 42 euros each in the bag, much to the surprise of the shop assistant who had been robbed without realizing it. In a backpack, they then found a shoulder bag still “shielded” with two polo shirts worth 460 euros inside and other items of clothing with the price tags still attached. Goods stolen from another shop, in via Monte Napoleone, where the manager confirmed the disappearance of two t-shirts.
