After the first 20 days of collection, the nine candidates to be independent candidates for the presidency register minimal progress in collecting the 961,405 signatures required to obtain their registration.

Hugo Eric Flores Cervantes, leader of the defunct Social Encounter Party (PES), and Manuel Antonio Romo Aguirre, former regional coordinator of the National Public Security System for the then federal district and State of Mexico, are the candidates furthest behind in collecting signatures. , since the first registers only two signatures validated by the control table and the second one signature.

Meanwhile, María Ofelia Edgar Mares, a dentist originally from Tamaulipas, registers 27 items; Rocio Gabriela González Castañeda 17 signatures; Ignacio Benavente Torres 46 signatures, Fernando Mauricio Jiménez Chávez six signatures and Cesar Enrique Asiain del Castillo 27 signatures.
