Andalusian Base and Pre-Base Championship held in Ronda

The Ronda Badminton Club organizes this Saturday, September 30, the Andalusian Base and Pre-Base Championship in the pavilion of the ‘El Fuerte’ sports facilities from nine in the morning.

The event will be divided into the following categories: sub 13, sub 15, sub 17 and sub 19. 87 players from 18 clubs from all the provinces of Andalusia will compete in them.

Oscar Gutiérrez, president of the club, has explained that 8 players from Ronda will attend: Alejandro Cañestro (sub19), Mario López (sub17), Marta Robles (sub17), Oscar and Elena Gutiérrez (sub13), Paula Morales (sub13) Unai Bellido ( sub13) and Carla Sánchez (sub13) together with the referee María José Sánchez.

Fran Gil, vice president of the club, has also announced that that same day two players from the team, Clara Sánchez and Cayetano Rojas, will attend the Campeón Wanted Program, a concentration with the Federation that will take place in San José de la Rinconada.

From the organization of the Andalusian championship they have invited all Rondeños to attend the competition whose entry is completely free.
