Alba Berlin Secures Second Victory in Preseason Test Match against Pesaro

The basketball players from Alba Berlin achieved their second victory in the fifth test match in preparation for the season. On Wednesday, the Berliners won against the Italian first division club Pesaro with 81:75 (42:33). The best Berlin thrower was Sterling Brown with 27 points.

As with the defeats at the weekend at the Magentasport Cup in Munich, world champion Johannes Thiemann was missing against the eighth-placed team in the Italian Lega A last season. Louis Olinde and Christ Koumadje, who were still injured, were also sidelined again.

On Saturday Alba will play another test match in Italy. Then it’s against the sixth-placed team from last season, Aquila Basket Trento (7.30 p.m.) – the former club of Alba newcomer Matteo Spagnolo. He will also be the dress rehearsal before the start of the league on September 28th at the MLP Academics Heidelberg.
