AL Agen Tournament Sees Strong Turnout Despite Heat Wave

The heat wave had invited itself to the AL Agen tournament. This did not prevent more than 130 players from discussing it on the courts of the district of the islands.

Jacques Kummer, co-president of the club with Hugo Tolot, was satisfied with this 2023 edition. We also had to postpone the finals to Sunday August 27. However, we will remember a good turnout and some very good matches. We must thank all the players from neighboring clubs, our sponsors and the great team of volunteers.”

A few players from the Amicale Laïque Agen stood out, including Sylvie Pedeneau who won the consoling ladies’ game (in the super tie-break!) and Christophe Kauzner, winner of the men’s table for over 35s against another member of the club. Note the “perf” in the final of the Cassipontin men’s singles Gilles Grasset who won a new title.
