Initiated in 2019 on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Operation Sentez-Vous Sport, the collaboration between the prison administration (AP) and the CNOSF is renewed for the 2023 edition. Aware of the major challenges represented by the practice of sport in penitentiary centers, the AP is setting up events which will consist of the organization of mixed tournaments (integrating staff and external teams). Establishments have also included a “sport-health” and/or “sport-well-being” dimension in their activities, taking the form of conferences on nutrition or health diagnostics, as well as awareness-raising about disability and disabled sports. On September 27, the penitentiary establishment for minors in Porcheville (78) will open its doors to the press for a Sentez-Vous Sport event, in the presence of Betty Charlier, Vice-President of the CNOSF in charge of Health and Sport for All.

Like every year, the CNOSF organizes a Sentez-Vous Sport village, in order to introduce as many people as possible to a multitude of physical and sporting activities free of charge. Organized at the Parc de la Villette, this event will offer a foretaste of Club France, a privileged place for French supporters to gather during the entire Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The CNOSF, accompanied by the sports federations, offers to come and participate in these initiations and attend demonstrations (rowing, basketball, horse riding) on Saturday September 30 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
