The Casa Obrera del Bajío will once again present evidence in the last instance of the T-MEC of the alleged violations of the CTM Union in the vote on March 31 at the plant located in León, Guanajauto, of the Yazaki auto parts company .
“In our legal resources we have presented written, video and audio testimonies from workers as proof of the violations and interference by the company to misinform regarding the legitimation process, which we will present again, if necessary in the panel, which it considers as the last resort the USMCA,” La Casa Obrera del Bajío said in a statement.

Regarding the statement from the Mexican government, in response to the United States government’s request to review the violations and denials of labor rights at the Yazaki León plant, the members of Casa Obrera disagreed with said determination.
“The fact that the Mexican government communicates that it will not carry out the review proposed by the United States government does not mean that violations of workers’ rights do not exist.
“We are going to denounce them to fight in the corresponding legal instances and exhibit them in the media,” Casa Obrera said.
He added that for the Casa Obrera del Bajío the most important thing is the defense of workers’ rights.
“We will continue to support them because the workers of Yazaki León remain firm in the vision of an independent union, out of the production line, willing to curb the excesses of trusted company and union personnel.”

The statement concluded by noting that the Mexican government is summoned to establish conciliation dialogues with the United States government prior to the next legal instance, as well as to make an effort, remedy and correct the requests of the Yazaki León workers.
