Tennis professional Yannick Hanfmann missed the round of 16 at the ATP tournament in Winston-Salem/North Carolina.

The 31-year-old from Karlsruhe lost to Argentinian Juan Manuel Cerundolo after 3:24 hours 6:7 (3:7), 7:5, 6:7 (4:7).

Dominik Koepfer (Furtwangen) had previously reached the round of the top 16.

The 29-year-old defeated the American Strong Kirchheimer 6: 3, 6: 2 and now meets Jiri Lehecka (Czech Republic).
