The summer open tournament Magny Tennis club (Tc) took place on the porous concrete courts of the municipal stadium of Magny-en-Vexin (Val d’Oise).
Judge-referee by Steven Deroubaix, the event included five different categories, all won by participants from Valdois clubs.
Valdoisians at the top
The local representatives behaved rather well on their infrastructures, in particular Julien Nivet who won the title for the 35-year-olds, but also Lucie Dreux (semi-finalist for the seniors), Paul Piu (finalist 45+) and Laurent Boni (finalist of consolation).
Here are the results of the tournament:
Senior ladies: Magali Chareyron (15/4, Vigny) beats Laëtitia Renaudié (15/4, Vauréal) 6/4, 4/6, 6/4; Lucie Dreux (15/5, Magny) semi-finalist. Senior gentlemen: Antoine Venancio (2/6, Beauchamp) beats Nils Bibard Grau (0, Lagord) 6/4, 6/4; Gilles Petronin (5/6, Boissy) and Thierry Octuvon Bazile (5/6, Jouy) quarter-finalists. Men 35+: Julien Nivet (15/2, Magny) beats Joseph Pivert (15/2, Conflans) 6/4, 4/6, 3-2, ab. Men 45+: Erwan Martin (15/4, Marines) beats Paul Piu (30, Magny) 6/1, 6/2. Consoling gentlemen: Aurélien Badou (30/2, Vauréal) beats Laurent Boni (30/1, Magny) 7/5, 7/6.
