National coin swimmer Sevilay Öztürk became the third in the world
ANKARA (AA) – National Under-20 Girls’ National Basketball Team beat Poland 70-63 in the last 16 round of the FIBA European Championship and advanced to the quarter-finals.
According to the statement made by the Turkish Basketball Federation, the national team finished behind 39-37 in the first half of the match played in Lithuania’s capital, Vilnius. Playing effectively in the second half, the national team won the match 70-63 and became a quarter-finalist.
The national team will face Serbia in the quarter-finals on Friday, 4 August at 13.00 CEST.
