Thorgan Hazard’s future at Dortmund is still uncertain. Monaco would have come forward in particular to try to bring him back to France.
It was eleven years ago: Thorgan Hazard signed for Chelsea from Lens for 500,000 euros, before being loaned to Zulte Waregem. At the time, he was still seen as “the brother of”, Eden signing with the Blues at the same time. Since then, Thorgan has made a name for himself.
Under contract until June 2024, he lost his starting spot to Dortmund but does not aim to leave the Ruhr for all that. According to Sacha Tavolieri, Monaco would have come to the news to bring him back to Ligue 1 (even if in fact he had only played Ligue 2 matches with Lens).
The file is however complicated: in addition to the fact that Thorgan Hazard does not necessarily envisage a departure from Dortmund, Borussia should not make a gift for his 30-year-old player, landed for 25 million in 2019.
