The French 3D archery championship was held from August 10 to 13 in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, Savoie. The discipline differs from what the general public is used to seeing at the Olympic Games. Here, three routes of several kilometers have been created. Along the way, animal-shaped targets (simple models) are scattered. These have a sight. The closer the arrow is to the center, the more points you score. The archers have 1 minute and a half to shoot two arrows. More than 700 archers criss-crossed the meadows and the banks of the Isère on the lookout for targets scattered here and there.
