«I am in a very beautiful year. Last year I had a very good season that is allowing me to play my first WTA tournaments and my first Grand Slam. So I’m very happy with the tournaments I’m playing and now to keep fighting to keep moving forward«.

«In the end it is a hard process because as you go up in ranking and you go up in level, obviously the rivals are much tougher. At first you have to get used to this level, but little by little I am consolidating myself in the best tournaments«.
Goals until the end of the season
«For now continue playing this type of tournament against rivals of this level and see that I am at their level of all. See me a whole season consolidated in this type of tournament and with rivals of a very good level«.
Spanish women’s tennis
«We are in a good moment. Spanish women’s tennis has always had great players and I think it will continue to be, because of the players that we all already know and who are consolidated in the top 100 or top 50 like other young women who are yet to come. Spanish tennis will always be very well represented. Let’s hope that in the future I will be there, but hey, it will always be well represented«.
Billie Jean King Cup dream
«Yes of course. In the end, playing for Spain would be a dream come true for me. Since I was little I have always played in the lower categories with Spain and it was one of the tournaments that I enjoyed the most. I love playing for Spain. It is a unique sensation. no doubt that I would love to go to the Billie Jean King Cup and represent my country«.
No ranking pressure
«You always want to be as high as possible, although you don’t have to think so much about the ranking either. You have to focus more on the level or how you are working to keep advancing«.
enjoying the doubles
«I really like playing doubles, I really enjoy it. For the individual it always serves me as learning. It’s obviously different, but I personally like it, especially if you get along well with your partner. ANDIt’s a way to play with less pressure, have more fun and I plan to continue playing in the future«.
