Virgilio Viéitez was the photographer from a small town in Pontevedra, Soutelo de Montes, who portrayed a good part of his countrymen from the region between the 50s and 80s of the 20th century. His is an exceptional work that summarizes an entire era, that of deep Galicia that was beginning to incorporate itself into modernity. His entire archive, more than 80,000 negatives and photos, is in the care of his daughter Keta in the house where he lived and died. She asks that, when it is missing, all that legacy is not lost.
