At the start of next season, it’s hard not to make the Lakers a big name in the West. The off-season has indeed been turbulent and Rob Pelinka has had a string of interesting moves on the market. During free agency, GM angelino managed to sign many players to give Darvin Ham the bench depth he needed. Gabe Vincent, Taurean Prince and others have thus joined California.
In addition to the arrivals of free agents, the Lakers were also able to welcome the extensions of certain executives of the roster. I really like these new look Lakers. I love what they did in the offseason. You have to give a lot of credit to Rob Pelinka. I think after that, he should be named Executive of the Year for what he has brought. So when I look at these Purple & Gold, regardless of any possible injuries that might occur, I’d be surprised if they didn’t make it to the NBA Finals at the very least.
This will all be conditioned by what can happen during the regular season, but I’m very excited about this team this year.
After the 2023 conference finals, Byron Scott therefore expects the NBA Finals in 2024 for LeBron and his gang. An objective which nevertheless promises to be high.
To get out of the Western Conference, the Lakers will have to brave the winds and tides.
