Title contenders can’t take that risk. That leaves only one candidate… There’s only one franchise dumb enough to sign James Harden: the Wizards.
For Simmons, the only possible destination for Harden would therefore be… Washington. A hypothesis that he justifies by an alleged lack of common sense from the front office of DC For the moment, however, no discussion has taken place between the franchise of the capital and Philadelphia, and setting up a trade could take time given the requirements of the 76ers. Obviously, this has nothing to displease Wizards fans anyway:
