The Entr’Arc Club Takes Home Silver Medals at the 2023 French 3D Archery Championships

The 2023 French 3D archery championships ended on Sunday August 13 in Bourg-Saint-Maurice. The Entr’Arc club returns with two silver medals.

The Entr’Arc club of Saint-Just-Malont had five archers entered for this competition: very beautiful courses, sun and heat, and a great atmosphere.

On August 10 and 11, the elites competed against each other as well as the mixed doubles for a first competition of this type. Marie-Pierre Denis finished 4th in women’s bow hunting, as in 2022. Marie-Pierre Denis and Jean-Noel Sauce, in mixed bow hunting, finished in second place: a silver medal for a first.

On August 12 and 13, the other archers competed in their own category.

Alain Pichon, in a senior 3 straight bow man, finished on the second step of the podium: it was a silver medal after the bronze of 2022.

Finally in the men’s bow hunting senior 2 category, Jean-Noel Sauce finished 13th, Thierry Desolme 20th and Jacques Lafont, for his first participation in the French championships, finished 22nd.

In 2024, the French 3D archery championships will be held in Marchaux in the Doubs.
