Marc-André ter Stegen was the captain of Barça in Getafe. After the game, he analyzed the outcome, somewhat upset by the result.
“It has been a match fought by both parties, we wanted more, but it could not be. We have played many minutes with one less and we have had to adapt”, said the German goalkeeper, who regretted the expulsion of Raphinha for attacking Gastón. “It is a clear expulsion and it cannot happen to us again”, he explained, in addition to praising Getafe’s defense.
“We tried not to stop the game, but it was difficult on the contrary, for us. They defend well, they are uncomfortable. We had one or two very clear chances at the end that could have given us victory, but the goal didn’t come”.
