This is the story of a teenage romance gone wrong. Shortly before 9 p.m. on Saturday July 29, police officers from the Melun/Moissy urban security brigade (Seine-et-Marne) received a call. An unknown person declares to be the witness of an aggression on the commune of Nandy, precisely alley of the Village. A young man was allegedly beaten up by three others who then forced him into a Renault Clio.
While the police are thinking of a kidnapping, the victim’s phone is geolocated… at the Moissy-Cramayel police station. In reality, the three alleged attackers ensure that the teenager, aged 17 and residing in Blanc-Mesnil (Seine-Saint-Denis), was physically attacking his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend who is none other than the daughter of one of them. Wishing to take him by force to the police station, they used a baseball bat and a katana to force him into their vehicle. A settling of scores which comes after months of harassment of the young man towards his ex-girlfriend.
An angry and destructive companion
For a year and a half, the two teenagers live a chaotic story. Victim of the angry and destructive behavior of her companion, the 17-year-old young woman declares to be the target of physical and moral violence. Faced with this toxic relationship, the parents of the teenager ask her to break up. Far from calming the outbursts of the rejected spouse, the situation gets bogged down. He harasses the mother, threatens her with death, repeatedly damages the family home and goes so far as to burn her car.
To monitor their house when they are at work, the father of the family hires two friends. Armed with baseball bats and katanas, they take turns to dissuade the teenager from attacking the house. This Saturday will have been too many times. While the young girl calls her mother for help, the latter alerts her husband who immediately goes there. Victim of multiple bruises, the young man was sent to the hospital in Meaux. Upon his release, he was brought before the children’s judge in Bobigny (Seine-Saint-Denis) for acts of violence against his ex-girlfriend, harassment, death threats and attempted destruction of property.
The father of the family and his accomplices spent the night in police custody. They will appear in court in January 2024 for kidnapping and violence against a minor.
