TIJUANAAUGUST 11, 2023.- With a resounding success, the closing ceremony of the 2023 edition of the Zonkeys Sports Club Summer Camp under the name “Zonkey Camp”having as headquarters the stave of the Zonkeys Auditorium.
With the presence of parents of children, adolescents and young people who participated in the “Zonkey Camp” 2023, which took place from July 17 to August 11 at the facilities of the José Santos Meza sports unit, popularly known as Unisantos , the closing ceremony began with words of welcome and thanks from Andrea Jáuregui, General Director of Tijuana Zonkeys.
Immediately afterwards, a video was broadcast where part of what was experienced by the participants of this summer camp was captured, then they gave way to the exhibition of badminton, volleyball, soccer, basketball, zumba and karate where the protagonists of these different presentations were the same children, adolescents and young people who participated in the “Zonkey Camp”.
This generated that, after each exhibition, applause was heard in the Zonkeys Auditorium and the smiles of proud parents were seen when they saw their offspring giving their best in each of the presentations.
In addition to these activities, during this summer camp, the participants learned a little about baking, yoga, crafts, flag football and cross kids, to name a few.
One of the characteristics of the “Zonkey Camp” are the values that are promoted and worked on; This year they promoted: teamwork, respect, social skills and order and cleanliness, this through badges that were delivered every week.
The 2023 edition of this summer camp had participants from children 5 to adolescents aged 13, while the Basketball modality was for 13 to 18 years of age. Both, both for the male and female branches.
