Two-time league champion from 2020 and 2021 Lukáš Provod, who shone in the last round on the South Bohemian Strelecky Island with a winning goal and an assist, is experiencing a new challenge in Eden.

The head coach of the reigning FORTUNA:LIGA vice-champion, Jindřich Trpišovský, made him a left wingback. How does he play in that position?

“It’s something new, I enjoy it. I have to learn everything, every training gives me something” stated on the website slavia.cz the twenty-six-year-old footballer, who appeared on the professional map for the first time in the colors of Baník Sokolov.

In the midfield, he only handled the instructions related to this position, the new role is another valuable experience for him. However, the universal from Eden itself does not completely solve the change…

“I am above all happy that I can start at such a club as Slavia. The competition is huge,” approached the seasoned fighter.

His first and for a long time the last competitive appearance at full back came as part of the farewell with Dynamo České Budějovice, which was in September 2019. “I’m more of an offensive player, I could probably play some games, but I feel better higher up,” informed.

The form from previous years, which was able to shoot him up to the basic lineup of the national team, is slowly returning. The player himself feels great, but he does not like to compare the present with the period before the injury.

Why? “I’m a different person, a footballer and a player. After all the experiences I’ve had, I’ve moved a lot,” added Provod, who was certainly helped by the fact that he had completed the entire summer training.

In the near future, he would like to follow up on quality performances and start confirming them week after week. However, the most important thing will be needed for this, namely health.

Bridge on the rise. It invests in technology, compares itself with Germany. We want young staff, adds the club boss
